Noah and I go way back. Like, coworkers at my first job in high school way back.
When Nicholas and I first moved to the Charlotte area, I was genuinely terrified of the thought of never working again lol. For some reason, I had it in my head that since we were moving to a new city on the opposite side of the state where we were living that nothing would ever happen for me and my business again. I think we were in town for a month when Noah reached out to me about photographing Maddie and his engagement photos and I seriously just wanted to cry. I was so freaking pumped to get out in the city and create some magic with a fun couple. And these guys were just that and a whole lot more! Just look at them.

We spent the afternoon walking around Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte which was actually not our original plan! Shout out to the Charlotte Knights for having a baseball game and altering our schedule, lol. I’m so glad this is what we ended up doing though. If you’ve never checked out Marshall Park and you’re in the area, you must! It is so quaint and cute, and absolutely stunning this time of the year. I will most definitely be revisiting soon. Something I love about Charlotte is the many many options and places we have for photos. I literally feel like almost everywhere makes for the perfect backdrop here. I absolutely love it! CLT — you’ve really got a hold on me.
I’ll forever be thankful for this “job”, which allows me to connect and create with hands down the worlds best people around! I never pictured my life being like this when I was little, but my heart is so grateful.

I just loved this engagement session as much as I love these two. Despite running into a small complication towards the end of the session (iykyk @ Noah and Maddie lol), it was seriously a blast and a half spending time with them. I’m so excited for these two and their upcoming season of life as they’re getting married at the end of this year.
