Although this day was the hottest day of the year, (so far), nothing could have taken anything away from how perfect Avery and Tylers wedding day was. It’s so different when your friends become your “clients” in comparison to clients becoming your friends. Being in Tyler and Avery’s life for some time now has been nothing short of special, and having the honor to photograph their wedding day was just the cherry on top. There really will never be enough words to describe this honor.

I love these guys and I love doing what I do.

The Cotton Barn has one of the prettiest outdoor and indoor ceremony spaces. It’s elegant and simple, with everything you could possibly ask for on wedding day.

Tylers reaction = absolutely priceless. This is one of my favorite moments from their wedding day!!! It had been sunny with little sign of clouds all day long until minutes before their ceremony. We didn’t see rain until the second Avery walked out of the door with her Dad, and Avery describes this moment of the day perfectly:

“Days leading up to the wedding, I struggled knowing my grandma wouldn’t be there to enjoy this special day with me. I remembered being a little girl and dressing up in white sheets to play wedding at her and my Grandaddy’s house. She always told me how beautiful of a bride I would be and how excited she was for that day. As you can see, as soon as me and my dad began to walk, raindrops began to fall from the sky on a 4% chance of rain day. The sun had been shining bright all day until about 15 minutes before our ceremony started when a small summer shower began to come up. All I could think was our outdoor ceremony wedding was about to be rained out. Before I could even begin to worry, my dad looked over at me as we were walking and reminded me that it was my grandmas tears from heaven above just letting us know she was with us. Just as quickly as it began to sprinkle as we were walking down, it went away as soon as we got to the end of the aisle. The sun began to shine throughout the entire ceremony until our kiss when it began to sprinkle again.”

little man was so nervous and had no idea what to do when he caught Averys garter, but it was so cute and fun to watch!! plus he was probably one of the coolest dudes there.

Simply one of the best days ever and I got to spend it with a lot of my beautiful friends. Avery and Tyler will forever hold a special place in my heart. They’re both wonderful human beings and I had the best time photographing their special day.
